In New Thought, the Universal Mystical Law of Cause and Effect is sometimes referred to as Subjective Mind or Divine Law. Divine Law responds to every thought. The Law is no respector of rank or person but embraces all equally. The Law does not evaluate or discern which thought should be fulfilled. Subjective Mind merely acts upon your instructions. Each person is part of this Universal Law and is in the constant process of using this Law. "Rain falls on the Just and Unjust." God is infinite and cannot be depleted through any process. Energy and Mass are interchangeable. All reality is undergirded by DivineUnity and yet within this DivineUnity we find a multiplicity that never ceases to expand and diversify. Subjective Mind (The Law) acts and creates automatically according to whatever input it receives. The word is thought in action and thus more potent than thought alone, therefore the wise are selective in their use of the word and always use Right Speech bearing in mind John Nash's Law of Compassionate Action which declares that highest good is brought about by a person doing what is good for the group and good for themselves. Embodiment of DivineUnity is not through ego or partiality but through equanimity. |
