Intangible

you can't see it
yet it is all around
you can't touch it
yet it is your grasp
you can't smell it
yet you breathe it
you can't hear it
yet it fills your ears
you can't taste it
yet it nourishes

Light reveals
yet you cannot grasp it
air is breathed
but you cannot touch it
sounds are heard
though you cannot hold them

all these things are but metaphors
so we can analyze them of course

whereas
Tao is
Trinity in Unity
Creator Created Creating
beyond analysis, yet always here

the upside is not bright
the downside is not dark

It is timeless and yet eternal
alpha and omega
before and after
beyond before and ever

"I am that I am"
Being does not ask for action
simply be
and you are
Tao

You cannot see me
Yet I am everywhere
You cannot touch me
Yet I am in reach
You cannot smell me
Yet I am your breath
You cannot taste me
Yet I am all flavours
You cannot hear me
Yet I am all sound
I am without substance
Without form
Without shape
Yet I am all things
Timeless and eternal
elusive yet attainable
Some say I am God
I say
"I am that I am"

You cannot hold me in your hands
How can you grasp
What you dont understand

You cannot see me,
Although I am right here
You cannot touch me,
Although I am within reach
You cannot smell me,
Although I am your breath
You cannot taste me,
Although I am all flavours
You cannot hear me,
Although I am all sound

Envision me
let me be your dreams
Sing me
let me be your song
Think of me
let me fill your thoughts
Love me
Let me be your love
But dont try to catch me
in your net

I am Spirit
Without substance
Without form
Without shape
Yet I am all things
Timeless and eternal
I am life's mystery
I am the elusive butterfly
