Tao #19 ~ Distinctions
Ф
1. Discard credentialism, and hierarchy,
and it will benefit everybody
2. renounce largesse and rightousness
and people will be dutiful and brotherly
3. get rid of profiteering
and there will be no greed
all three of these remedies
simply treat the symptoms
we need to learn simplicity
awaken to our DivineUnity
then we will feel complete
Tao meets all needs

By eliminating the line, there is no this side or that side of the line. By having no education then no one is better educated than anyone else. By calling everything good, then there is no distinction between poverty and wealth, feast and famine. In the cultural revolution in China, a pervasive drive to kill off all those who were educated or were culturally literate was considered essential to the creation of an equal society. The great mystic paths teach love and kindness. Today many people are beginning to find the way of simplicity. We are beginning to embrace the natural and to let go of strange abusive customs. It is positive when we open our minds and our hearts and live through positive values rooted in compassion and wisdom. It is good when we do not simply consume.
