Tao #28 ~
Receive
Ф
know the y,
but keep to the x
be aware of gender
yet transcend sex
be creative
but more so receptive
as the valley holds the river
this is the greatest power
acceptance
source of rebirth
being as child
heaven on earth
know the white
totality of light
yet dwell in the black
absence of judgement
be an example to the world
and being this example
the power of the way
will flow through you
and you will know no limits
returning to the infinite
know glory, honor, and fame
yet retain humility embrace
those disgraced
be a valley welcoming
the universe
with compassion
all the creativity of creation
the page scribed becomes a passage
the block carved becomes an instrument
the wise, utilize, the light
and thus come to power
never seeking to divide
cut or sever

It is essential that we open our hearts and nurture others. We must love the Divine Mother within ourselves and be open to life and love. "The greatest lesson to be learned is just to love and be loved in return." As we become one with the light, we must also be aware of life as it is. We must not become lost in spiritual confusion and forget that there are hungry people in the world and people who live under tyranny. We must not forget that "no right has ever been procured by the people from those in power but by struggle". If we live in the clouds and do not have our feet on the ground then we will lose touch with life. We must open our hearts to people and not simply judge them by their past. We must joyfully accept our accolades but always embrace those less fortunate or those who have endured shame. Life is to be lived. Love is to be loved and shared. We all have talents and we are wise to use them and give what we can to the world with and open hand and open heart.
