That's right the teachings are simple
just begin your practice
the world seems reluctant to grasp
and incapable of rising to the task
the teachings are as old as time
the principles are universal
only ignorance of divine law
results in transgression
If you want to understand
look inside for the lesson
enlightened beings are rare
intelligent compassion is seldom
This is why the sage
shops in a thrift store
yet within his rags
you find the world
