Tao #80 ~ i-deal Nation
ะค

It's small,
the i-deal nation,
with a low population,
living in harmony with the land.

They have machines
that can do everything
but prefer goods made by hand

They build, then export
high quality machines
to other countries by the tens,
of thousands and more,

and have cars and boats
but prefer to go by foot
or use public transport.

Aware of their own mortality
they prefer ties and bonds,
spending time with family.

A socially conscious society
they use both emails and blogs
yet unlike their corporate neighbors
don't live in a high tech fog.

They have the finest weapons
but never use them.
They know we are all one
so they never parade them.

Literacy is 100%
and everyone eats organic.

They can hear the sounds of factory chickens
and angry barks and growls of pit bulls
from the land of the wage slaves next door,

but they don't feel a need to cross
the border into corporate land
because they don't want any more

cheap hormone filled pork raised in pens
or pre-prepared meals in plastic and cans.

They think global,
but buy local.

In contrast to the land of consumers
they die hale and hardy of old age
because they have full medical
when they walk upon life's stage.

Thus they don't bother
spending time at their neighbors.

Interpretation

Writers referenced : Lau, Merel, Feng-English, Beck

We must open our hearts to the deepest values. Embracing the truth of our divinity and living through love and not fear. I open my heart to wisdom and wisdom guides me to deepest truth and joyful life.
